Nira Hackathon: Transforming the Future of Education

The Nira Hackathon is a dynamic innovation challenge bringing together students, developers, designers, and problem-solvers to reimagine how we learn and teach. This hackathon is focused on building impactful solutions that improve education through technology, creativity, and collaboration.

Education is evolving—and we believe the next big breakthrough can come from you. Whether it’s improving access to learning, enhancing classroom experiences, or creating tools that make education more engaging and inclusive, this is your chance to make a real difference.

Participants will work in teams to design and develop solutions that address real-world challenges in education. From AI-powered learning platforms to mobile apps for students and teachers, all ideas that push education forward are welcome.

Submission Requirements

To successfully participate in the Nira Hackathon, all teams must submit the following:

Project Requirements
  • A working prototype, demo, or proof of concept
  • The project must be built during the hackathon period
  • The solution should address an education-related problem
Devpost Submission Must Include
  • Project name and short description
  • Detailed explanation of your solution and the problem it solves
  • Demo video (2–5 minutes) showing how your project works
  • Screenshots or images of your project
  • Link to source code (GitHub or similar)
  • List of technologies used
Optional (but recommended)
  • Live demo link (if available)
  • Presentation slides or pitch deck
Judging Criteria (example)

Projects will be evaluated based on:

  • Innovation and creativity

  • Presentation quality
